From South Africa to Lake Norman
Junk Safari is owned and run by Josh and his sons: a family crew, a safari hat and a very tidy work ethic.
Why the safari?
Josh grew up in South Africa, where a safari is what people come from all over the world to experience and locals just call a weekend. When he and his family moved to North Carolina, he wanted to build something with his own hands and give it a name that told you exactly where he's from.
So yes, the hat is real, the accent is real, and if you ask about the bush he'll happily tell you about it while he loads your old couch.
Before junk removal, Josh spent twenty years leading manufacturing and defense companies. He's run factories, managed big teams and shipped products around the world. He brings the same standards to your garage: show up when you said, do the job properly, and leave the place cleaner than you found it.
Junk Safari is proudly local to Cornelius and trained by one of Charlotte's top-rated junk removal companies, so the process is proven even if the trailer is new.
How we work
On time, every time
You get a 2-hour window and a text when we're 20 minutes away.
Donate first, dump last
Anything with life left in it goes to local families and nonprofits before the landfill.
Family crew, always two-plus
Josh and his sons run every job together. Bulky items come out with two people on them, so your walls, floors and doorframes stay untouched.
